PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange some pre-stressed concrete steel members to the lower end of a sidewall of a ground pre-stressed concrete tank under a sufficient dense state. SOLUTION: This ground pre-stressed concrete tank is constituted in such a way that a cylindrical sidewall 2 is integrally formed and raised on a base plate 1, some first pre-stressed concrete members 4 extending circumferentially and some second pre-stressed concrete steel members 5 extending in vertical directions are arranged at the sidewall to introduce pre-stress into it. Both third pre-stressed concrete steel members 6 (main pre-stressed concrete steel members 6A and sub pre-stressed concrete steel members 6B) extending in vertical directions are closely arranged between the second pre-stressed concrete steel members 4 and between the lower end of the sidewall 2 and the base plate 1 and then a pre-stress against the lower end of the sidewall 2 in vertical directions is reinforced by the third pre-stressed concrete steel members 6.
