PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating mechanism which allows movement in an axial direction without using a ball spline. SOLUTION: A timing pulley 61 which gives torque to a hold portion 42 is provided in a proximity position of an activate axis 24 in the hold portion 42 supported movably in an axis direction 41. To be more precise, the pulley is provided in an outer perimeter portion in proximity to the activate axis 24, the torque from the timing pulley 61 is transferred to the hold portion 42 in a contactless manner by the magnetism of each magnet 72, 72, 83, 83. Thereby, the hold portion 42 can vertically move with respect to the timing pulley 61 without generating slide contact resistance between the hold portion 42 and the timing pulley 61.
