A rotary drag bit for use in subterranean earth boring operations, the drag bit having blades, rows of cutters on the blades, and nozzles disposed within the rows. The nozzles are configured to discharge fluid during drilling. The nozzle placement enhances bit cooling and detritus removal, thereby reducing the likelihood of bit balling.
