<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and its control method can improve a searching function and search efficiency, to provide and a program thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Input image data is converted to print data of vector form. Kinds of the input data are determined. Information to be used for searching is extracted from the input image data or the printing data of the vector form based on the determined kinds.
