<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate operation for gripping and tightening, and improve sureness and reliability of gripping and tightening in a clamp head driven by a tightening release piston (5) by being placed in a piston chamber (3) in a chuck trunk body (2) and formed of a tightening driving head (4) for opening and closing a collet chuck (9) and a tightening spring (7) disposed in a spring receiving recess part (6). <P>SOLUTION: A spring (15) is provided between a closing stop cover head (17) and the tightening driving head (4) or a constituent member connected to the head. The closing stop cover head (17) retains a plurality of collet jaws (10) such that they retain the opened position and opened posture radially spaced apart from one another at a distal end position when a split type collet chuck (9) is in the position and posture where tightening is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
