<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray projector preventing outer shape dimensions of the infrared ray projector and constitution elements constituting the infrared ray projector from becoming upsized. <P>SOLUTION: The infrared ray projector 1 is provided with: a light emission means 2 for generating a light including a visual light beam and the infrared ray; a permeation means 3 for permeating the infrared ray while shutting off the visible light beam; and a voltage adjustment means 9a for adjusting a voltage V applied to the light emission means 2.
