PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately attach and detach a waste fluid collector and to appropriately remove waste fluid adhering to a discharge member. SOLUTION: The waste fluid collector includes: a container having an opening portion through which the discharge member for discharging waste fluid that is fluid to be discarded is inserted or extracted when the container is attached to or detached from the fluid jet device having the discharge member on its sidewall; and a first absorber which is provided in the container and absorbs the waste fluid, the first absorber having a guide groove for guiding the discharge member inserted in the container from the opening portion; and a second absorber which is provided at a position, where the guide groove is covered from above, and absorbs the waste fluid.
