PURPOSE: A semiconductor light emitting device is provided to improve a current diffusion within the emitting device. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor light emitting device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The first electrode(71) supplies one of an electronic and an electron hole. The second electrode(72) supplies one of the electronic and the electron hole, and the second electrode is separated from the first electrode by a first interval(a). The third electrode(73) is electrically connected to the first electrode. The third electrode is separated from the second electrode by a second interval smaller than the first intervals.
