IMAGING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element achieving the increase of the number of bands and the miniaturization of the element while maintaining the spatial resolution.

SOLUTION: This imaging element is an element comprising: a first imaging part having a pair of first transparent electrodes and a plurality of first photoelectric converting parts arranged between the pair of first transparent electrodes in a matrix-shape and composed of an organic film, wherein the first imaging part is for reading out an image focused in the first photoelectric converting parts; and a second imaging part having a pair of second transparent electrodes and a plurality of second photoelectric converting parts arranged between the pair of second transparent electrodes in a matrix-shape and composed of an organic film, wherein the second imaging part is for reading out an image focused in the second photoelectric converting parts. The first imaging part and the second imaging part are laminated and in each of the first imaging part and the second imaging part, four or more types of photoelectric converting films having luminosity sensitivities different from each other are contained.
