<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub water cleaning system capable of favorably preventing the sucking of contamination into a circulation pump and constantly retaining clean bathtub water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This bathtub water cleaning system is provided with a sump part 3 capable of accumulating water, on the outside of a sidewall 1a of a bathtub 1, is configured to pass bath water including contamination from an opening of the bathtub to the interior of the sump part 3, wherein the sump part 3 has a suction port 3a and an outlet 3b on its bottom side and the suction port 3a and the outlet 3b are linked by the circulation pump 6, and is configured to suck water in the sump part 3 from the suction port 3a by the operation of the circulation pump 6, jet out water from the outlet 3b to the interior of the sump part 3 and also generate an upward force at a site where the bathtub water falls into the sump part 3 by water jetted out from the outlet 3b.
