<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox which enables mail articles to be taken out by one hand operation with simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mail box comprises an outer box 1 one end of which is opened, a mail article charging opening 2 arranged in the front upper portion of the outer box 1, and a mail article receiving box 3 arranged in the outer box 1 slidably in fore and aft directions and is characterized in that the mail article receiving box 3 is arranged below the mail article charging opening 2.
