PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic discharge protection circuit and an electronic system. SOLUTION: The electrostatic discharge protection circuit is coupled to an input/output pad and includes: an attenuation unit which attenuates an electrostatic discharge current for generating an attenuated current; and a discharge unit used to release the attenuated current.
