<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine contributable to an improvement in quality by surely performing connection by the welding and soldering of a lead and an internal terminal of an igniter. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This ignition coil 1 for the internal combustion engine is constituted by positioning the igniter 3 by a projection 4X, by arranging the projection 4X on an opposed inner surface 423 of a lead storage part 422 of an igniter storage part 42 in an igniter case 4.
