PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush roll that has a high washing performance to efficiently and surely eliminate objects like foreign matters without having residuals on a washed face and without having limits in the rotary direction of the brush roll for a long time and a washing device equipped with the brush roll. SOLUTION: A brush roll 1 includes an approximately bar-like or cylindrical rotary shaft 3 and a brush part 2 spirally wrapped around the periphery of the rotary shaft 3. The brush part 2 is provided with three or more of brush bodies 4a, 4b, and 4c in parallel that comprise a channel brush 5 composed of a belt-like body 6 whose section is approximately U-shaped and a brush material 8 which is held by the belt-like body 6 together with a core line 7 and is spirally wrapped around the periphery of the rotary shaft 3. Each of the brush bodies 4a, 4b, and 4c has an angle of gradient θ (45° or under) against the perpendicular line (P.L.) of the shaft centerline (C.L.) of the rotary shaft 3 and is fixed on the periphery of the rotary shaft 3 by a fixing means 10.
