摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an efficient and high-performance commutator motor wherein variation in reluctance between a stator core and an armature core is gently set to prevent reduction in motor torque and pulsating torque is reduced to achieve both the enhancement of motor torque performance and the lengthening of brush life. SOLUTION: The main magnetic pole chips of the stator core are inclined in the direction of outside diameter relative to the tangent of an arc formed by an air gap formed between inside the stator core and the outside diameter of the armature core. The inclined portion of the main magnetic pole chip is placed on the reverse side in the rotation direction of the armature in at least one place per main magnetic pole. The inclined portions of the main magnetic pole chips are so set that the following is implemented: the value obtained by dividing the circumferential angle formed by the distance from the inclination start portion of the main magnetic pole chip to the main magnetic pole chip by the angle between armature slots is not less than 0.4 and not more than 0.7; and the inclination angle of the main magnetic pole chip in the direction of outside diameter is not less than 5 degrees and not more than 15 degrees relative to the tangent of the arc formed by the air gap formed between inside the stator core and the outside diameter of the armature.
