<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a color acquired when a color of an optional color chip ID is seen under optional illumination light. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device includes a spectrum operation means to which information relating to the spectral reflection factor of a prescribed color included in a prescribed color chip and information on determination illuminating light are input for determining a spectrum under the determination illuminating light on the prescribed color included in the prescribed color chips by the operation based on the input information, a chromaticity calculating means for converting the spectrum of the prescribed color determined by the spectrum operation means into chromaticity information, and outputting the chromaticity data, and a determination illuminating light designating means for supplying the information on the determination illuminating light to the spectrum operation means.
