<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide claws of a cold Pilger feed slide that use plate springs having long service lives instead of cushion rubber to open and close the claws of the feed slide. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The claws of a cold Pilger feed slide, which use plate springs, open and close the claws 2 of a feed slide by using plate springs 15, when opening and closing the claws of a feed slide, which holds and feeds a stock tube on a cold rolling line in cold Pilger rolling. Further, the claws of a cold Pilger feed slide, which use plate springs, makes the plate springs to have a wedge effect. A long service life of the claw is expected by using the plate springs to open and close the claws of a feed slide. Since the plate springs do not suffer deformation such as spreading, permanent set, and bending, rolling is conducted without occurrence of abnormal opening or closing of the claws, so that productivity is improved.
