PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a change of the actual position of an object reflected on an image cannot be felt by a projection image. SOLUTION: This image projection device has an adjustment function for focusing position of an projected image and projects the projected image. The image projection device comprises an acquisition part which acquires the focusing position information accompanying the projected image, a setup part which sets up the focusing position of the projected image based on the focusing position information, and an adjustment part which adjusts the focusing position of the projected image to the set up focusing position using the adjustment function. In such a configuration, the focusing position of the projected image is set up based on the focusing position information accompanying the projected image. As a result, a viewer can check a spatial change of the focusing position of the projected image from the actual travel distance of a screen by moving the screen and reflecting the focused projected image onto the screen.
