PLASMA DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A plasma display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce a cost by applying the voltage to a sustain electrode in an address period and a falling period of a reset period using a driving circuit applying a sustain discharge pulse to the sustain electrode. CONSTITUTION: A sustain electrode driver(500) includes an electric power collector(510), a first transistor(Xs), and a second transistor(Xg). The first transistor is electrically connected between a first power source and a sustain electrode. The second transistor is electrically connected to a second power source and the sustain electrode. A first terminal of an inductor is electrically connected to the sustain electrode. A capacitor is charged with an arbitrary voltage between the first voltage and the second voltage. The first terminal of a third transistor(Xr) is connected to the first of the inductor and the second terminal is connected to the capacitor. The first terminal of a fourth transistor(Xf) is connected to the second terminal of the inductor and the second terminal is connected to the capacitor.
