<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can transmit or receive applications which are predicted for use, beforehand, and to provide an image processing apparatus, a transmitting apparatus, a transmission program, and a reception program. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing system is comprised of an image processor to include: a transmitter which is provided with an application to be used in an image processor, a first memory means for correlating the number of times of use of the application with the use time and store them and a transmitting means for transmitting the application stored by the first memory means; and an image processor which is provided with a determination means for determining applications that are predicted for use with a lapse of specified hours, based on the number of times of use that the first memory means stores, by correlating the present time and a time with a lapse of a specified period of time, and a receiving means for receiving the applications which are determined by the determination means.
