<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal inspection method in which a projected status of a terminal mounted in projection on a holding member in a given arrangement pattern is inspected by a terminal inspection jig and a mistaken insertion of a terminal of a poor projection status into an insertion hole of the terminal inspection jig can be detected. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The terminal inspection jig 23 includes an alignment plate 25 which is used for inspecting a projected status of each of terminals among a terminal group 6 composed of a plurality of terminals 5 mounted in projection on a housing 4 of an electric connecting component 1 in a given arrangement pattern and on which insertion holes 28 enabling the terminals to be inserted are arranged in an arrangement pattern corresponding to an arrangement pattern of the terminals, an auxiliary plate 26 which is arranged overlapping the alignment plate and is made to press-contact with terminals while it is pressed by the terminals when the terminals are inserted into the insertion holes, and a conduction decision circuit 27 for deciding a conduction status between the alignment plate and the auxiliary plate.
