PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parapet structure having satisfactory design of a sloped roof parapet part of a building for making the appearance of an eaves gutter invisible and capable of being simply inserted from above a narrow clearance (recessed part), letting a drain pipe pass through an external wall, preventing the occurrence of water leakage, and ensuring its safety from the viewpoint of waterproofing. SOLUTION: In this parapet structure of a building constituted to let a beam tip part forming a downstream side part of a sloped roof and the external wall intersect with each other, the beam tip part is constituted by sloped roof members 11, 11a fixed on an indoor side of a beam 3 constituting an outer peripheral beam of the building, a top part 2a of the external wall is constituted by an external wall member 2 fixed on an outdoor side of the beam 3, and a drain ditch is formed in the clearance formed by mutually opposing sloped roof members 11, 11a and the external wall member.
