PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall repairing method which achieves the shortening of a construction period and a reduction in construction costs in the repair of an exterior wall. SOLUTION: This exterior wall repairing method is used for the exterior wall with a structure in which furring strips 4 elongated in a vertical direction are horizontally provided at predetermined spacings and equipped with an exterior wall panel 5. A steel plate panel 11, which is provided on the outer surface of the exterior wall panel 5, is fixed to the furring strips by means of a bolt 12 which passes through the exterior wall panel 5; and an new steel plate panel wall 13 is formed on the outer surface of the existing exterior wall panel 5 by the steel plate panel 11.
