摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# Carbon black with an aggregate size distribution ratio ((d 9 0-d 1 0)/d 5 0) of = 1.1, is new. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for: (1) preparation of the carbon black; and (2) device for executing the above process comprising a burner and a cooling surface against which the flame is directed, where the cooling takes place through a self-constricting gap, which has a height/width ratio of 1-100 mm, where the width is related to the upper edge of the gap and is 0.5-10 mm and the flow velocity at the narrowest point of the gap is 10-200 m/s. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The carbon black is useful: as filler, reinforcing filler, UV-stabilizer, conductivity carbon black, pigment and reduction agent; and in rubber, plastic, printing ink, inks, inkjet-inks, toners, paints, colors, paper, asphalt, concrete and other building materials (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The carbon black exhibits a hue component value of greater than 0.5, hence provides more intensive blue shade for painting purpose; and homogeneity. The mechanical conveyance is absent hence the product is free from contaminations. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preparation (Claimed): Preparation of the carbon black comprises mixing a gas mixture containing a buoyant gas and carbon black raw material, optionally with hot air; introducing the gas mixture into a burner tube; subjecting the gas mixture to combustion at the openings of the burner tube; sucking the flames together with the ambient air, which is freely drawn from the outside; and cooling the flames together with an external free air by sucking through the self-constricting gap. Preferred Components: The aggregate size distribution ratio of half value width (FWHM) to D(mode) is = 0.6.
