<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device, and the like, which can quickly switch the connection specification of a motor coil with high reliability, moreover, which can attain high efficiency of a drive system, and is relatively less affected, even if there are failures. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a master-side inverter circuit 2, which separates a neutral point of the motor coil for connection with a lead wire of the motor and drives the motor by applying voltage with the PWM, based on a first PWM signal; a slave side inverter circuit 3 which drives the motor, based on a second PWM signal, a short circuit 23 which connects to the lead wire in parallel with the slave-side inverter circuit 3 for switching a motor winding specification of the motor 6, to either a star connection specification or an open winding specification, based on a switching signal; and a control means 41, which transmits the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal to the master-side inverter circuit 2 and the slave-side inverter circuit 3 and transmits a switching signal E to the short circuit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
