<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high mechanical strength and capable of maintaining preferable cleaning property even in repeated use. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive support body and a photosensitive layer on the conductive support body, wherein the outermost surface layer of the photoreceptor contains a polyarylate resin having a repeating structural unit expressed by general formula (1), and the content of alkali metal atoms in the polyarylate resin is ≤20 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
