PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting device can prevent the generation of damage or friction powder during the adjusting movement of a carried article, and smoothly carrying out the adjusting movement. SOLUTION: The adjusting device 11 includes a carrying portion 4 on which the carried article W is placed and moving that in a first direction, a moving portion 6 holding the carrying portion 4 to move in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and an adjusting portion 11 adjusting the carried article W at a predetermined position in the second direction.
