PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stain sticking preventive product having excellent water stain (including dirt by animal excreta or the like) sticking preventive effect and capable of sustaining the water stain sticking preventive effect over a long period and further easily removing the stuck water stain even when the water stain is stuck on the surface of a base body and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The water stain sticking preventive product 1 has a water stain sticking preventive coating film 3 formed on the surface of the base body 2, wherein the coating film 3 contains silicon, zirconium, oxygen and phosphorus and the content of silicon in the film is≤50 mass% of the total content of silicon and zirconium when silicon is expressed in terms of silicon oxide and zirconium is expressed in terms of zirconium oxide and phosphorus is distributed at least on the surface part 3a.
