<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for executing suitable processing within a short time, an image processing method, a program, and a storage medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image processor for reading out a document set on a document table and performing image processing includes: a number-of-documents determination means for determining the number of documents; and a control means which executes image processing for photographic images when the number of documents determined by the number-of-documents determination means is two documents and more, and executes image processing for a document image when determining that only one document is put.
