<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction resistance reduction vessel reducing friction resistance and enhancing fuel economy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A wing 20 is arranged on a portion becoming an outer side of a bow plate 3 so as to provide a clearance between the bow plate 3 and it. In this embodiment, the wings 20 are arranged on left and right sides of the bow plate 3 and a downstream portion of a lower side. The shape of the wing 20 forms a plate-like shape and forms a spindle shape in which a central portion becomes the thickest in a cross section shape. The shape of the wing 20 is not limited to this, and it may be the shape in which a clearance between the wing 20 and a hull becomes a negative pressure as the vessel navigates.
