PURPOSE: An over differential detection method and system thereof are provided to calculate the difference between an input rotation speed and wheel rotation speed in order to compare a preset critical value with the calculated value. CONSTITUTION: An over differential detection method comprises the following steps of: detecting the input/output rotation speed of a transmission(S102); detecting a speed of a wheel(S103); calculating the input rotation speed of a differential gear using the input rotation speed of the transmission(S104); and comparing the input rotation speed of the differential gear with a preset critical value(S105). |
