<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator and its manufacturing method that can be reduced in size by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator 1 includes a pipe 20 which is provided at its tip with a shrinkable part 21 which houses a piezoelectric element 10 and is expanded and contracted in axial direction, and a tubular housing 30 which houses a pair of terminal leads 41 electrically connecting a pair of power supply wires 42 for supplying electric power from the outside and a pair of external electrodes 14 connected to the piezoelectric element 10 while being connected in the axial direction on the rear end side of the pipe 20. The housing 30 allows the pair of terminal leads 41 to be inserted thereto collectively, and provides airtight sealing between the pair of terminal leads 41 and itself using a seal part 32 of a seal material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
