<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which spherical aberration can be appropriately corrected by easy control when single-layer disk and double-layer disk are processed. <P>SOLUTION: A spherical aberration correcting means 37 for correcting spherical aberration caused in accordance with dimension D1 between two surfaces of a disk 8 is provided between a semiconductor laser 31 and a collimator lens 33 in an optical pickup device 3 of a disk device 1. The spherical aberration correcting means 37 is constituted of first and fourth aberration correcting members 371, 374 having the same thickness dimension, second and third aberration correcting members 372, 373 having different thickness dimension from that of the first aberration correcting member 371, a processing type discriminating means 376 for discriminating a processing type of the disk device 1, and a correcting part arrangement control means 377 in which either of the aberration correcting members 371-374 is arranged between laser prisms based on the processing type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
