<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector enabling to easily miniaturize a relatively long flagstaff when used and to simplify the carriage and storage of the flagstaff when non-used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical member connector 10 is inserted into a connection part 7 between one cylindrical member 5 and the other cylindrical member 6. It includes one rod part 12, the other rod part 14, and a rod part supporting part 16 having one connection portion 25a at one end 16a, to which the other end 12b of one rod part 12 is turnably connected around its axis perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of one rod part 12, and the other connection portion 25b at the other end 16b, to which the other end 14b of the other rod part 14 is turnably connected around its axis perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the other rod part 14. One rod part 12 has a guide groove 18 for guiding the slide of a protrusion 8 provided on the inner wall of an end 5a of one cylindrical member 5, and the other rod part 14 has a guide groove 20 for guiding the slide of a protrusion 9 provided on the inner wall of an end 6a of the other cylindrical member 6.
