<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bandpass filter having a wide-reflection frequency band. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A reflection-type waveguide bandpass filter 90 changes the local characteristic impedance, with respect to the characteristic impedance of a waveguide, by implementing the line width w(z) of a strip line 13 as a nonuniform width.
