The liquid crystal television encompasses a liquid crystal screen (3) which is mounted on the door element (2) and is used for displaying external multimedia data. A front plate (22) behind which the liquid crystal screen (3) is mounted and which is transparent at least in the area corresponding to the liquid crystal screen (3) is mounted as a whole on the side of the door element (2) facing the user.
