PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic polyimide resin tube is provided to improve productivity by extruding and drawing the tube through a die standing upright. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic polyimide resin tube is as follows. A thermoplastic polyimide resin is heated. A tube is formed by extruding the heated thermoplastic polyimide resin through an extrusion gap(113) of dies which is formed between the outer surface of an inner die(111) and the inner surface of an outer die(112), wherein the dies stand upright to make the entry of the extrusion gap face downward. The extruded tube is cooled.
