摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation curing composition for a protective layer of an optical recording medium superior in application properties with low viscosity and transparencies and superior in the balance between the surface hardness and warping resistance when made as a laminate, a cured substance thereof, and an optical recording medium using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation curing composition for the protective layer of the optical recording medium includes at least a monomer and/or an oligomer having a radiation curing group, wherein the viscosity at 25&deg;C is 300 to 10,000 mPa s and the light ray transmittance per optical path length of 0.1 mm at a wavelength of 400 nm is 85% or more as the cured substance. The monomer and/or the oligomer having the radiation curing group includes an isocyanurate skeleton and a polyester skeleton. The radiation cured substance for the protective layer of the optical recording medium is obtained by curing the radiation curing composition for the protective layer of the optical recording medium by irradiation with radiation.
