<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a conduit surely so as not to come off by surely reducing the diameter of a fastening ring with an operation for inserting the conduit. <P>SOLUTION: Locking parts 3a, which allow the fastening ring 2 to freely move in the insertion direction of the conduit B to an external cylinder 3 provided outside a nipple 1 and temporarily lock the fastening ring 2 on an external cylinder 3 in a diameter-enlarged state, and open parts 3b, which release this temporary locking so as to allow the fastening ring 2 to reduce the diameter and deform, are formed continuously in the insertion direction of the conduit B. By locking the fastening ring 2 to the locking parts 3a in a way that it may freely move in the conduit insertion direction and by shifting the fastening ring 2 in the same direction interlocking with the insertion of the conduit B, the fastening ring 2 is pushed and moved from the locking parts 3a toward the open parts 3b while being locked temporarily in the diameter-enlarged state. By releasing the diameter-enlarged state of the fastening ring 2 at the moment of shift to these open parts 3b, the ring is reduced in diameter and deformed by its own elasticity.
