<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing apparatus, a portable information terminal, content processing device, an device control apparatus, a content processing system and a program, capable of improving convenience on the occasion of selecting and processing of contents. <P>SOLUTION: Among processing object contents including a specific content managed by every user a content list including contents processable by designated processing device 300 is received by a portable terminal 200 from an ECG server 100, and content is selected by a user. A processing request of selected content is transmitted from portable terminal to designated device via an ECG server and device control server 400, and unit information of the selected content is acquired by the portable terminal 200 for display and regeneration thereof.
