<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for transmitting and receiving a signal between a board and a fixed board, provided with a signal processing part and a control unit without generating electromagnetic radiation noise, by using a time of returning to the initial position from the displaced position of the displaceable board which is provided with a solid-state imaging element. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: a first displaceable board 3 provided with the solid-state imaging element 104; a fixed second board 18 having a DSP (digital signal processor) 22 and a CPU 25; and first and second light emission parts 6 and 20 and first and second light receiving parts 7 and 19 for transmitting and receiving an image pick-up signal of the solid-state imaging element and a control signal of the solid-state imaging element, during the time the first board returns to the initial position from a displaced prescribed position.
