<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch installation structure of a vehicle seat capable of executing the operation of an operation switch knob without any error by enabling the operation switch knob to be operated to activate the seat function to be visibly understood by a seated person. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat 10 has various kinds of seat functions such as the seat slide and the reclining. An operation switch knob 20 for activating the seat functions is installed on a shield 12 on a side of the seat 10, and a display unit 30 is installed on a center console 32. An electrostatic capacity sensor is built in the operation switch knob 20, and turned on by the electrostatic voltage of an operator during the operation to light the corresponding display unit, and the kind of the presently operated seat function is clearly shown to the operator.
