<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Sendai virus vector useful for production of an influenza vaccine, to provide a production method of the influenza vaccine, using the vector, to provide an influenza vaccine produced using the vector, and to provide a protein for an immunogen and immunoassay, capable of being obtained by utilizing the Sendai virus vector. <P>SOLUTION: The production of a vaccine to strong poison type influenza is achieved using a recombinant Sendai virus vector introduced with a hemagglutinin (HA) gene of an influenza virus. A mouse nasally inoculated with the vaccine exhibits significant resistance to the strong poison type influenza virus. Also, it becomes clear that the protein produced by utilizing the Sendai virus vector has strong immunoreactivity and is suitable for an immunogenic protein and an immunoassay protein for vaccines. Especially, it becomes clear that the protein is useful as an antigen of ELISA and the like for a serodiagnostic agent of HIV infection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
