<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector assembling tool and an optical connector assembling method, capable of easily performing sure optical connection. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector assembling tool 10 comprises a base 11 having an optical fiber storing groove 12 for storing an optical fiber 90 in the longitudinal direction thereof and an optical fiber rear presser 14 constraining a rear part 94 separated from a built-in optical fiber of the optical fiber 90 stored in the optical fiber storing groove 12; and a guide 16 movable in the longitudinal direction of the base 11, the guide including an optical fiber rear support part 16 supporting a front part 93 close to the built-in optical fiber of the optical fiber 90 stored in the optical fiber storing groove 1. The base 11 is moved forward to an optical connector 73, whereby an intermediate part 95 of the optical fiber 90 is separated from the optical fiber storing groove 12 and distorted. The base 11 is further moved forward to the optical connector 73, and whereby a core wire 91 of the optical fiber 90 can be connected to the built-in optical fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
