The pad (1) has a reinforcing element (18) with two holes (22) arranged at a distance to one another. Recesses (30) run coaxially to the holes of the reinforcing element and come from a bottom side (16). The cavities serves the purpose of accommodating fastening devices (26, 28) e.g. bolt, that is fastened to the reinforcing element. The reinforcing elements are made of a high-strength material e.g. metal. A space (40) between the projections (36, 38) co-operates with a central stud (42) of a base plate (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing wear pads. |
