<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode illumination device which can be used by installing on a fluorescent tube illumination fixture of an existing inverter type. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting diode illumination device is provided with a light-emitting circuit 10 including a light-emitting diode, an illumination cover 200 inside of which the light-emitting circuit 10 is arranged and through which outgoing light of the light-emitting diode transmits, a first electrode pin 41 and a second electrode pin 42 arranged at one end part, and a third electrode pin 43 and a fourth electrode pin 44 arranged at the other end part in the longitudinal direction of the illumination cover 200, a first rectifier circuit 21 and a second rectifier circuit 22 which rectify AC power impressed between the first electrode pin 41 and the third electrode pin 43 and the AC power impressed between the second electrode pin 42 and the fourth electrode pin 44 into DC power, and supply that DC power to the light-emitting diodes 11-1n, a first impedance circuit 31 connected between the first electrode pin 41 and the second electrode pin 42, and a second impedance circuit 32 connected between the third electrode pin 43 and the fourth electrode pin 44.
