<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for a canceling frequency fluctuation caused by a fine temperature variation (fluctuation) caused by an instantaneous temperature change or wind. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric oscillator includes: a temperature sensor circuit 6 for detecting a temperature; a frequency control circuit 7 for performing frequency control on the basis of a sensor output of the temperature sensor circuit 6; an oscillation circuit 5 which includes a piezoelectric vibrator and a voltage controlled variable capacitor, and adjusts an oscillation frequency in accordance with an output signal of the frequency control circuit 7; and a high-pass filter circuit 8 for passing only a high-frequency component voltage signal contained in the sensor output of the temperature sensor circuit 6. The temperature sensor circuit 6 is configured to output a first sensor output and a second sensor output in which the characteristic of a relationship between a temperature and an output voltage becomes mutually inverse to the first sensor output, to input the first sensor output to the high-pass filter circuit 8, and to input the output of the high-pass filter circuit 8 to the frequency control circuit 7 while superimposing the output on the second sensor output.
