<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a push-button switch which hardly has a push mark due to pressing at the time of adhesion of a keytop and a base film, and to provide a method for manufacturing thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The member for the push-button switch 100 includes one or more keytops 1 arranged on a base film 10 through an adhesive layer 9. A decoration layer 2 which is provided with at least a base color layer 3 for decorating excluding a character region and a character color layer 4 for decorating the character region is installed on the bottom of the keytop 1, and the base color layer 3 and/or the character color layer 4 are formed with a thermosetting ink.
