摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-joint robot in which maintenance is easy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This multi-joint robot 1 is constituted of a hand part 8 on which an object to be conveyed is loaded, a multi-joint arms 21, 22 connected to the hand part 8, provided with at least two or more rotary joints 3, 4 and 5, elongating and contracting to move the hand part 8 in one direction, and arranged to be opposed in a vertical direction, a supporting member 10 for connecting the multi-joint arms 21, 22 to a movement mechanism 11 moving up and down and mounted to a column 12 for vertical movement, and a base 13 mounted to an lower end part of the column 12 to turn the multi-joint arms 21, 22 mounted to the column 12. A fixing surface of an output shaft 39 of a reduction gear 37 turning the base 13 is positioned at substantially a center of thickness of a bearing 42 supporting the base 13.
