PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extracting the contour of an object to be cut when a skin is cut by distinguishing the contour from stains and scratches on a cutting table. SOLUTION: A mat on which a skin is placed is installed on the cutting table. The skin is photographed by a camera, the contour of the skin is extracted, and the skin is cut by a cutting head. The background image of the mat on which the skin is absent is prepared, and the image of the skin is excluded from the background image to extract the contour of the skin.
